Among the great decorative traditions of watchmaking, few patterns have endured quite like Clous de Paris. Built from countless miniature pyramids arranged with absolute precision, it has long been admired for the way it transforms light into depth, rewarding those who take a closer look rather than demanding attention at first glance. For the Heritage Atelier Small Seconds Clous de Paris, Lebois & Co set out not to reinvent this historic pattern, but to reinterpret it through contemporary craftsmanship.
Developed in collaboration with Swiss high-end dial specialist GT Cadrans, the dial undergoes a sophisticated multi-step manufacturing process before receiving a warm rose-gold tone achieved through a galvanic treatment using a 24k gold solution. The finish softens the light rather than reflecting it sharply, allowing the texture to reveal itself gradually throughout the day. The dial remains intentionally restrained, carrying only the LEBOIS signature so that texture, proportion and craftsmanship become the true focus.
Presented in the finely finished 37.8 mm Heritage Small Seconds case and powered by the COSC-certified LC-350 automatic calibre with approximately 56 hours of power reserve, the watch reflects the philosophy of Heritage Atelier: celebrating exceptional craftsmanship through collaboration with independent artisans and specialist workshops whose expertise shapes every creation from the very beginning. As one of the inaugural creations presented in The Atelier, the first room to open within La Maison Lebois, it marks the beginning of a growing world dedicated to remarkable craftsmanship.
The Heritage Atelier Small Seconds Clous de Paris is not a numbered limited edition. Instead, production is organised in carefully planned production runs, each determined by the artisanal craftsmanship and specialist capacity required to create these exceptional dials. Orders for the inaugural production run will be accepted during a single 14-day ordering window, opening on 27 July 2026.
